This is a top-tier, life-size skeleton model built from more than 600 individual structures, combining bone, muscle origin and insertion points, and ligaments in a single teaching piece. The fully flexible spine lets the model be adjusted into natural body postures, and the head joints demonstrate skull movement. Muscle origins and insertions are hand-painted, and bones are numbered for reference. The spine includes a modeled slipped disc between the 3rd and 4th lumbar vertebrae, and protruding spinal nerves and vertebral arteries are also represented.
