This mounted, dual-sex torso has 28 parts and an open back that shows the vertebral column and spinal cord with nerve endings, with the first, fifth, and seventh dorsal vertebra individually removable. Removable organs include two lung halves, the heart in two parts, the liver with gall bladder, a 2-part stomach, the large and small intestines with an appendix flap opening and cover, and half of the kidney. Reproductive anatomy is shown for both sexes: male genital organs in four parts, and female genital organs in two parts with an embryo in the third month of pregnancy. The model measures approximately 38 x 24 x 90cm (14.96 x 9.44 x 35.43 in.), is made of plastic, and is built with a durable, easy-to-handle finish.
