What This Chart Covers
This chart illustrates refraction — the bending of light as it passes from one transparent medium into another of different density — using a rectangular glass slab as the example, showing how a light ray bends on entering the slab and bends back on exiting, emerging parallel to its original path but laterally displaced. It follows on from our Reflection of Light Chart and relates to our Refraction Through Prisms Chart. It is printed using CTP offset technology on 130 gsm coated art paper, laminated on both sides with 30-micron heat-sealable polyester film, and fitted with plastic rollers for wall hanging. The surface is markable and washable. Available in English only.
