Students learn to set up the network analyzer, program the PLC and VSD, work with the trainer's float switch, flow sensor, pressure sensors and solenoid valves, and quantify the energy savings achieved by drive-based motor control versus fixed-speed operation, with process data exportable via micro SD card to Microsoft Excel for analysis.
