Lab Instruments Manufacturers manufactures the Wind Energy Modular Trainer With Connection in-house at our own India facility, supplying it to renewable-energy and electrical engineering labs, and as an OEM/private-label item to distributors and exporters across India and internationally.
What This Trainer Does
This is the grid-connection variant of our modular wind-energy trainer, built around a 400W, 12Vac wind turbine driven by an included motor kit (a stepper motor with its own 300W power supply) so the turbine can be run and studied indoors without depending on real wind. The system includes a wind-speed and wind-direction anemometer on its own stand, a braking resistance (250W, 3 Ohm), a DC-to-AC converter module, an energy-measurement module, a differential magneto-thermal protection switch, and a network distributor for feeding generated power into a mains-style network, plus a measurement module covering wind speed, wind direction, current up to 30V/±15A, voltage up to 30V and power up to 1000W. Exercises cover analysis of turbine behaviour, assembly of the installation, wiring-diagram interpretation, wind-speed measurement, and analysis of the assembled system's operation.
Typical Lab Use
Engineering colleges use this trainer to teach grid-connected wind-energy systems — turbine control, AC conversion, network protection and feed-in metering — using an indoor motor-driven turbine simulator rather than requiring outdoor wind conditions.
