Lab Instruments Manufacturers manufactures the Hoffman Voltameter in-house at our own India facility, supplying it to school and college physics and chemistry laboratories, and as an OEM/private-label item to distributors and exporters across India and internationally.
What This Apparatus Does
The Hoffman Voltameter is used to demonstrate the electrolysis of water on a 12V D.C. supply. The glass unit has two connected limbs, integral with a reservoir tube and a funnel-shaped bulb, with a stopcock at the top of each side limb to collect and measure the gases released at each electrode. The glass unit is held by a metal stand with mounts for support. Electrodes are supplied separately, mounted in rubber stoppers for insertion into the open ends of the voltameter limbs.
