Newton's Disc Card

Specifications

Quantity	One card
Diameter	7 inch
Material	sturdy paper

When spun quickly, the colors appear to fade into a neutral whitish color.

Contains the colors of the spectrum.

The Newton's disc is a sturdy, vibrantly colored tool that can be utilized to demonstrate Newton's theory that white light is comprised of a spectrum of colors.

Recommended for use with a Newton's disc spinning apparatus (such as the hand-driven Newton's disc or the economy Newton's disc).

The disc, printed with the colors of the spectrum, appears to become a neutral whitish color when spun quickly, demonstrating that white light is actually comprised of colors.

Spin it on the Electric Motor Model with Newton Colour Disc, and split white light with the Glass Prism. The Student Optics Kit and the Light Box and Optical Set offer further colour and ray experiments; see Physics Lab Equipments in Physics Lab Equipment.
