What This Apparatus Does
This apparatus contains ceramic ring magnets, each 38 x 5mm (outer diameter x height), painted in different colours and placed on a vertical non-magnetic rod mounted on a base. Because like poles are set facing each other, the magnets repel one another and appear to float, hovering with a visible gap above the ring below. It is available in three variants: with 3 magnets, with 5 magnets, or with 7 magnets stacked on the rod.
