Kinetic Theory Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PLE-10302
Lab Instruments Manufacturers manufactures the Kinetic Theory Apparatus in-house at our own India facility, supplying it to physics laboratories in schools and colleges, and as an OEM/private-label item to distributors and exporters across India and internationally.
What This Apparatus Does
This apparatus demonstrates the kinetic theory of gases and associated phenomena, such as the thinning of air with increasing altitude. It consists of a transparent cylindrical plastic tube with a rubber diaphragm attached at its lower end and a perforated cap at its upper end. The plastic tube rests in a cylindrical ring fitted with three tightening screws, equally spaced around the rim, for a firm grip on the tube. Spheres of 1/8 inch diameter are placed on the diaphragm to represent gas molecules; a piston below the diaphragm, connected to a DC motor, agitates the spheres so their motion models the behaviour described by the kinetic theory. The complete assembly is mounted on a base, with two 4mm socket terminals for the motor's electrical connection.

Typical Use
School and college physics laboratories use this apparatus to give students a visual, moving model of the kinetic theory of gases, observing how agitated spheres on the diaphragm behave like gas molecules under increasing or decreasing agitation.
Manufactured In-House
This apparatus is manufactured at our own India production facility. Manufacturing in-house means our team controls diaphragm fit and motor assembly at every stage, and can produce custom sizes or bulk sets for a specific institutional order or export shipment without waiting on an outside supplier.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Kinetic Theory Apparatus demonstrate?
The kinetic theory of gases and related phenomena, such as the thinning of air with increasing altitude, using motorised spheres to model gas molecule behaviour.
How is the motion of the spheres produced?
A piston below the rubber diaphragm, driven by a DC motor connected via two 4mm socket terminals, agitates the spheres resting on the diaphragm.
Can this be supplied as an OEM/private-label order?
Yes, it can be produced and packed under a buyer's own brand name and item codes for distributors and exporters ordering in bulk.
